Vacheron Constantin Patrimony ref.47200/000G-8758 "Singapore Boutique Edition" from 1998

The Patrimony Power Reserve Calendar made exclusively for the Singapore Boutique. This example pairs an 18k white gold case with a boutique-only grey/black dial. We do not know how many were made, but they were certainly produced in small numbers. Among the 47200 variations, this is arguably the rarest—and one of the most unusual.

The 36 mm case is just 9.5 mm thick, with stepped lugs and sapphire crystals. Its black dial features applied arrow indices, applied VC logo at the lower center and Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9 with elegant alpha hands. Inside is the automatic Vacheron Constantin Caliber 1127, with 45 jewels, adjusted to five positions and fitted with a 21k gold segment in its winding rotor to increase mass and improve winding efficiency. It offers a 38-hour power reserve.

On the wrist, it wears beautifully: contemporary in its Asymmetric proportions on the two toned dial, yet full of vintage charm with its stepped lugs and classic size. The black textured matte dial is truly unique in its own sense, reminds me of vintage matte dial submariner watches.
