Tudor Submariner ref.7928 Gilt de 1965
Tudor Submariner ref.7928 Gilt de 1965
Introduced in 1959, the Tudor Submariner reference 7928 was the first Submariner of the brand to feature crown guards and the last to use a rose logo instead of a shield. With these evolutionary features, the reference 7928 has become one of the most desirable watches among collectors and we are excited to have one here with us.
SOLE OWNER
Mr. Luis started working in 1966 at the watch shop Roberto Gutiérrez Joyeros at the age of 21. He quickly became interested in watches and fell in love with a particular watch, the Submariner. At that time, dive watches were cutting-edge technology and very few people could afford such an expensive watch, but this did not stop him from striking a deal with the owner of the jewelry store and buying his Tudor Submariner with a generous discount for the amount of $1,250.00 Pesos, with weekly payments of $150 Pesos. Mr. Luis asked to engrave his initial on the buckle as a reminder of his achievement.
