This model named Date+Day was the viable option to the Rolex Day Date model during a time in which Rolex was still producing all the external components of Tudor watches. The iconic Rolex crown can be appreciated on the back cover, bracelet tube, and watch crown. This is a transitional piece since the bracelet clasp proudly bears the Tudor shield, which is due to the struggle to make Tudor independent from Rolex in later years. In the year following the production of this watch (1985), Tudor changed the systemization of its serial numbers. The present watch is part of the last genuinely collectible pieces.
