Tudor "Big-Block" Chronograph ref.9430/0 de 1983
Tudor "Big-Block" Chronograph ref.9430/0 de 1983
In 1976, TUDOR introduced the new Prince Oyster-date watches, which were the first chronographs in the history of the brand equipped with automatic movements. Although their cases retained the general lines of previous families, they became thicker to accommodate the rotor of the automatic movement, which earned them the nickname "Big Block" in collector circles.
The watch we have here was acquired from the original owner, and what is very interesting is to see that in the years following the start of the import substitution law, not only were the Rolex watch bracelets manufactured in Mexico, but also the extenders of the Tudor brand, as we can appreciate in this model.
