Rolex Oyster Perpetual Coca-Cola ref.6565 from 1956

This beautiful 1950s Rolex Oyster Perpetual features a rare opaline dial with triangular indexes, not to mention a Coca-Cola logo at 6" O´Clock position.

Back in the old days big corporations gifted Rolex watches to their employees and some of them had the watches personalized by Rolex itself, this watch was a gift presented by Coca-Cola Company the 30th of March of 1958 to Ward G. Wells who completed 25 years of continuous work in the company. The present watch is one of the earliest logo dial watches we have ever seen, still running the Cal.1030 with butterfly rotor and Radium lume dots on the dial.
