Rolex GMT-Master II ref.1670 from 2002

It's hard to believe that the Rolex GMT-Master II 16710 has been missing from showrooms since about 2007. That was fifteen years ago! It's hard to believe because the 16710, itself, debuted in 1989 and seemed like one of those ubiquitous pieces, especially when it comes to buying a "Pepsi." Rolex made a Pepsi bezel GMT Master watch from the line's start date in 1954 until 2007 and then they stopped. It wasn't until the introduction of the new Rolex GMT Master ll Ceramic with Pepsi Reference Bezel  126710BLRO launched in 2018 that the model saw a resurgence.
