We found a one of a kind Piaget protocole, this yellow gold example, complete with an integrated bracelet was crafted by artisans in Geneva in the decade of 1970s. However, what truly makes this watch stand out is its rare onyx dial adorned with a unique customized logo, the Trillas editorial motif. Founded in 1954 by Francisco Trillas Mercader, Editorial Trillas has been a pioneering force in Mexican publishing for over six decades. Trillas Mercader, born in Mexico City in 1926, dedicated over seventy years to the advancement of education through books. Under his leadership, Trillas published over five thousand titles by ten thousand authors, predominantly Mexican. Trillas Mercader's commitment to Mexican literature and education led to the accreditation of Mexican literature across the continent. Despite receiving tributes internationally, including in Colombia, Argentina, and Spain, Trillas Mercader was never honored in his own country. Today, Trillas continues its legacy under the leadership of his son, Fernando Trillas Salazar.
