Omega Constellation De Luxe Pie-Pan NOS ref.2853 de 1954

Launched in 1952, the Omega Constellation was considered one of the most precise and reliable wristwatches of its time. Since its initial release, the Constellation has remained one of the flagship models of the brand, still in production to this day. Enclosed in an elegant 35 mm diameter case with beautifully sculpted lugs, there is a stylish yellow gold dial with a satin and polished finish and triangular indices.

While most expert collectors would pass on examples of the Constellation De Luxe despite its historical significance because they are common, this particular specimen is a different story. The condition of this piece is unparalleled, as finding a De Luxe in these conditions is practically impossible, despite it being a moderately common model. It should be noted that this piece has been stored for 68 years without any use and only shows marks from storage. The fact that the watch comes with its documents and box adds even more to the rarity of this piece, which is why we decided to keep the watch in these immaculate conditions and have not performed any mechanical servicing on it. The watch is completely "UNTOUCHED."

This piece was acquired from the son of the original owner of the watch, who confirms that the watch was purchased in 1957 in the city of Mexico and subsequently stored for all these years.
