Omega Constellation Day-Date 18k Juegos Olímpicos de México 1968

In 1968, Mexico City was the host of the Olympic Games. To commemorate this year, watches sold in Mexico throughout 1968 were delivered in a commemorative Olympics box. The present watch comes with its original box, manual, and a serial number that corresponds perfectly with the watch's history.

The 168.016 model was innovative in its time, as the caliber 751 had a quick change in the calendar wheel while Rolex's Day-Date still had a slow change during these years. It was not until 1977 that this technology was implemented in Rolex.
