Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Date ref.251.8.10 from 1993
At the beginning of the 1930s, this watch was born from a challenge: to design a model capable of withstanding the polo matches of British Army officers in India. By turning the case, the dial is smoothly concealed to reveal the back, which in turn protects the glass from possible blows of the mallet. The first "sports watch" in the history of watchmaking was born.
This example present a two tone gray dial with Tritium Arabic Numbers that have turned to a rich vanilla color and a date at 6" making it a beautiful Neo-Vintage watch that happens to be pretty practical. The finishing on the middle case is a factroy sandblasted texture that you rarely see on this watches and give it a very unique look.
