Bvlgari Bvlgari Skeleton 33mm ref.BBW33GLSKP 18k Gold from 2000

The Bvlgari Bvlgari Skeleton ref. BBW33GLSKP is an unusual, fun and little watch to say the least.

Produced around the early 2000s, in a compact 33mm case made from 18k white gold, straight lugs, and the signature bezel prominently engraved “BVLGARI BVLGARI.” The watch movement is completely skeletonized, exposing the architecture of its automatic caliber from the front. Bridges and plates have been extensively opened to reveal the gear train, balance and winding mechanism, turning the movement itself into the dial.

The skeletonization gives the watch an contemporary loud presence which goes well with its little classic size and bezel. The result represents an interesting intersection between Bvlgari's two identities: the bold, contemprary design language of the Roman jewelry house.
