This was the only reference that had serial numbers unlike the Paris and London versions. These case serial numbers in the stepped case should always start with the number 12-0 followed by its 4-digit case serial number. The other references did not have a serial number on the exterior of the case and were lightly\/superficially engraved with the Cartier brand and text. The Stepped Case Jumbo had an ETA 2512\/Cartier caliber 78-1 movement signed '' Cartier Inc '' (Only the Cartier ETA calibers from the US market were signed Cartier Inc).
