Its restrained 38 × 39mm case is crafted in 18k rose gold and measures only 6.6mm thick—approximately 40% slimmer than the original Drive. Cartier removed the date and seconds display, leaving only two blued-steel sword hands, Roman numerals and a subtle sunray-brushed silver dial. Inside is the hand-wound calibre 430 MC, an ultra-thin movement based on Piaget’s respected 430P architecture. The deliberate ritual of winding, closed caseback and perfectly judged proportions make the Extra-Flat feel more closely connected to Cartier’s great historic dress watches than to the rest of the modern Drive family.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eAlthough sometimes described as a limited edition, this rose-gold WGNM0006 was part of the regular collection. It was the white-gold WGNM0007 that was individually numbered and limited to 200 examples.
